Benefit from our multimodal transport connections

The port of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen is Germany’s southernmost seaport. This favourable geographical location, in conjunction with a trimodal transport connection, offers considerable potential for moving traffic onto the water.

Weserport operates four terminals in the Industriehäfen (Industrial Habours) port district. Our terminals are optimally connected to the transport network:

  • By water: Around 65 nautical miles from the open sea. There is a connection to the European inland canal system via the Weser.
  • By road: There is a direct connection to the federal motorway network via the A281 / A27.
  • By rail: The terminals are connected to the European rail network via the Bremen-Inlandshafen and Bremen-Stahlwerke railway stations.
